About

 A little bit about Jodi:

My hearts desire is to honor the Lord.  I remember my first song written - "Are You Ready".  I was @ 18 years old, in the quiet of my room, and asked the Lord to let me write a song about judgement and from that statement - that song was born.  However, playing the piano came from necessity.  Growing up my dad was a pastor and every church he went in never had a pianist or anyone to lead worship (that has drastically changed over time).  I remember the one church he pastored had this little ol' lady - she was in her 90's - no joking and had to be helped to the piano to play the one song that we would sing before service - I remember that day praying - I would love to do that if you want me to.  And years before that probably at the age 10 my mom wanted a piano, I remember the day that it was delivered and I remember my mom praying over it that someone in our family could learn to play it.

When I became a teenager, I decided to go to bible college - turn my back on the world to study only music and the bible.  My favorite college class was New Testament Survey. That was my easy A, and I enjoyed every minute of learning in that class.   There I met my husband of 36 years, and we have 2 beautiful children (who aren't children any longer), Cyd (along with his wife Erica) and Avalon (along with her husband Tom).  And now...I'm a grandmother!  My first grandchild, Daphne, has arrived. What a joy!

My husband and I have been around the world to over 40 countries and have seen lots of things. One of my favorite places was an archaeological dig in Israel.  By doing all that, I have found that I am happiest where God has me.  The grass is not greener somewhere else; I've found it's the greenest where you are.

We produced one feature-length movie, "The Legend of Red Lake," and a short entitled "The Enemy Within."  I have produced 4 children's books and 1 book that has been on my heart to make for years entitled, "Little David, Play Your Harp", along with a music EP to go along with it.   God is good—all of my life is dedicated to Him and His service.  I'm looking forward to all that God has in store.

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
